I’ve missed you and am so glad to be back! I’m amazed this video actually came together as I had to learn how to use a new camera, how to record audio externally, how to sync the two together and figure out how to edit on a hard drive in the space of a day 😅 Sometimes though you need a little push to get things moving, which in my case was committing to levelling up my audio/video quality as I'd mentioned in my community post. The lighting needs some work(I’ll play around with the ISO for future videos) and the audio will be improved further also but really I'm just excited to be slightly more professional and less 'filmed on a potato' type vibe. I really enjoyed learning something new and I've realised that's something I need to incorporate regularly into my ASMR side of life as things like editing/uploading/SEO can get a bit monotonous after a while. I wish I could say that I feel well rested after my 'break' but if I'm being honest I've really let my health suffer, this always happens when I have big life changes(new housemates/moving) and big deadlines(university). And typically I would let myself spiral further but I'm really trying to tell myself that this is just a little rough patch and tomorrow I can go for a walk, read a book, study, catch up on your comments, make a meal plan, etc. I have the power to change my life in a day(and so do you) and it doesn't require anything revolutionary.
