In my video, I used a 5 mm single twist rope, you can find it in my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/MacrameSpag... (free UK and EU shipping). The length of each rope is 100cm (or 3.3 ft). It may vary depending on how tight your knots are. But a general rule is: take your projected design length and multiply by 8 (we are attaching the ropes to the dowel with the Lark's head knot).
