Harley Benton ST-Modern HSS (NOT Plus) Unboxing, First Impressions & Review (new October 2024)

This is the NEW Harley Benton ST-Modern HSS strat-style electric guitar, first shown and the Guitar Summit in September 2024. Just released! In this video, I unbox guitars in two colors, Lake Placid Blue and Shell Pink (ST-Modern HSS LPB and ST-Modern MN HSS SP). *Read on for an update below. I focus on first impressions, reactions, thoughts and do a few quick tone demos. Let me know what you think! *UPDATE: the recessed pole pieces on the 2nd strings on both guitar's single coils are intentional. After a few minutes of reading I learned that it is typical for the B string pole piece to be recessed below the plastic cover in a vintage-style staggered pole pickup. I LOVE these guitars. I am blown away by the quality, feel and tone, at any price point. Well done, Harley Benton!
