Exploring a Traditional Sasak Village in Lombok, Indonesia

Hallo everybody ✌🏽 In this video, I explore Sade Village in Kuta, Lombok. Sade Village is home to the indigenous Sasak people of Lombok. The Sasak have a fascinating culture, with unique traditions, weaving techniques, and architecture that reflect their rich history. The village itself is really well organized, and you can learn a lot about their culture. However, it’s presented to tourists in a way that makes it seem like people are still living there traditionally. Personally, it felt more like a staged performance, like walking through a cultural theater rather than an authentic village experience.
