In Lo Vásquez, I walk among thousands of pilgrims, entire families fulfilling vows, and a sacred silence that would be unthinkable in my country. Here in Chile, I can participate in Mass without fear, ask for prayers for my future, and even dare to ask for something I never thought possible: my Chilean citizenship.
