We began our journey from Bloemfontein and travelled through Graaff-Reinet, Knysna, Wilderness, and George – exploring some of the most iconic and scenic places in the region. One of the highlights of our trip was riding the breathtaking Seven Passes Road, a 75-kilometre historic route linking George to Knysna. This route, filled with charm and beauty, is truly paradise for us overlanders. But the most memorable stop was at The Motorcycle Room in Knysna – a dream destination for bike lovers! With a collection of over 150 bikes, including rare and vintage models, the place is a tribute to the spirit of adventure. And that's where we met – Savannah, the legendary Honda CRF250L once ridden by Itchy Boots (Noraly Schoenmaker). Standing next to the very bike that conquered tough terrains across Southern Africa and beyond was a surreal moment. Savannah represents grit, freedom, and the thrill of overlanding!
