Denza Officially Launches N8L Three-Row Crossover, Now Open for Orders Denza has officially unveiled the N8L, its latest three-row crossover SUV, and has begun accepting orders. The new model is offered as a plug-in hybrid and features a powerful tri-motor setup. In terms of dimensions, the N8L measures 5,200 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,075 mm. Compared to the Denza N9, the N8L is slightly smaller—58 mm shorter, 31 mm narrower, 10 mm lower, and has a 50 mm shorter wheelbase. A large roof spoiler adds a sporty touch to the rear profile. While it shares similarities with the N9, the N8L introduces its own distinct design language. It features vertical headlamps and twin horizontal LED daytime running lights. The body kit is unique to the N8L, and unlike the N9, which has its license plate on the tailgate, the N8L positions it on the bumper. Inside, the N8L's cabin closely mirrors that of the N9, with a familiar triple-screen layout: a 13.2-inch digital instrument panel, a 17.3-inch central display, and a 13.2-inch secondary touchscreen. It also features a tall, dual-level center console. The steering wheel design is exclusive to the N8L. Both models come exclusively with six seats, though the N8L includes a folding rear bench. Cargo space ranges from 313 to 1,077 liters, slightly less than the N9's 351 to 1,140 liters. The N8L is offered in two trim levels, compared to the three available for the N9. Despite this, the N8L doesn’t compromise on features. Standard equipment includes a 20-speaker premium audio system, dual wireless phone chargers, ventilated, heated, and massaging front and second-row seats (with a footrest for the front passenger), and heated seats in the third row. Additional amenities include fold-out tray tables behind the front seats and two storage compartments with cooling and heating capabilities—one in the center armrest and another in a pull-out drawer at the rear of the center console. The N8L also comes standard with BYD’s advanced “God’s Eye B” autonomous driving system, which incorporates lidar, multiple cameras, and radar for comprehensive environmental awareness. Powering the N8L is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with a plug-in hybrid system. The engine alone produces 207 horsepower, while the combined output of the front and rear tri-motors reaches an impressive 762 horsepower. The N8L can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. It uses BYD’s Blade Battery, tailored for plug-in hybrid applications, offering a pure electric range of 230 km (CLTC) and a total driving range of up to 1,300 km. Pricing for the Denza N8L starts at 319,800 yuan and goes up to 349,800 yuan. Actual market prices may come in slightly lower once official sales begin.
