DQ7「強き者ども」を聴き比べ＆リミックスしてみた～ゲーム音源比較：PS1／3DS／スマートフォン

This video compares the boss battle theme "Mighty Ones" from Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden across the PlayStation, Nintendo 3DS, and Smartphone versions. It also features a remix that combines all three versions. As of 2024, there are three versions of DQ7. The Japanese 3DS version uses orchestral recordings by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, while the Smartphone version (and overseas 3DS release) uses a synthesizer orchestral arrangement. The original PlayStation version utilized internal sound sources, but improved both in timbre and number of sounds over previous entries, giving it a more orchestral feel. Listening to all three, the fundamental composition remains unchanged, but it's interesting to hear the differences in instrument sounds and percussion.
