The agreements between the People's Party (PP) and Vox continue to spread across the country. Following those reached in Extremadura and Aragon, which installed María Guardiola and Jorge Azcón as regional presidents, respectively, the agreement in Castile and León was ratified this Tuesday, securing Alfonso Fernández Mañueco's third term as president. And in Andalusia, Juanma Moreno also met with representatives of the far-right party to seek a governing agreement. All the agreements signed so far include the concept of national priority, which gives preferential access to public services to people with roots in these communities. However, the far-right party's intention is to prioritize Spaniards over immigrants in these public services. Gonzalo Velasco, agreeing with his two colleagues, delved deeper into the issue. While concurring that "there is a perception that cannot be denied" and that the left has denied the shortcomings in social services, he pointed out that the debate "was not created from the bottom up and suddenly Vox managed to represent it, albeit poorly," but rather that it was manufactured "from the top down, created by people like those of us at this table."
