Why does eastern Indonesia always captivate so many people, including me? There's so much natural beauty and cultural richness to be found in eastern Indonesia. This is why I finally mustered the courage to explore further east. I started my journey from the land of Tanimbar in Maluku province. When I first saw the plane ticket to Saumlaki, I was a bit taken aback. From Jakarta to Saumlaki, I had to dig deep into my pockets. The price was equivalent to a plane ticket to Turkey, haha. But for the thrill of experiencing Eastern Indonesia, I strengthened my resolve to explore it. There's going to be a lot of excitement in this journey to the east, friends.
