INTRODUCTION Tuwon Village is a remote village nestled in the middle of a forest, far from the hustle and bustle of the city...far from adequate facilities... Tuwon Village is located in Slogohimo Village, Slogohimo District, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java Province. Topographically, Tuwon Village is situated on a hilly and undulating terrain typical of eastern Wonogiri. It is dominated by agricultural land, gardens, and yards. SOCIAL Tuwon Village is home to only 15 families...and the houses are located far apart in the forest, adding to the quiet and serene atmosphere. ACCESS Tuwon Village is located in a remote area on the slopes of the mountains in eastern Wonogiri. Access from outside the village is not via a major highway, but rather via a network of village roads and fairly difficult dirt paths. The last 3 or 4 km of the road is a slippery dirt path through pine trees on the edge of a ravine, built collaboratively by the residents. The road conditions are very slippery, especially after rain, and many sections of the road are flanked by ravines and slopes, so caution is essential. The village's remote location and dirt road access mean that most Tuwon residents only graduated from elementary school. However, remarkably, one resident has pursued a master's degree, according to one Tuwon resident.
