Three Sights Worth Seeing (1 Thessalonians 2:13,14) - Charles Spurgeon Sermon

A sermon delivered by C. H. Spurgeon, Thursday Evening March 24th 1887. Spurgeon really seemed to grasp human nature as it is. Many of us want to praise and thank God for blessings in one direction, but find ourselves distracted and discouraged by problems somewhere else. The preacher recognizes the great blessing that the Thessalonian believers were to Paul. He shows that Paul could have allowed his thanksgiving and praise to be offset by discouragements in Corinth and Galatia. Instead the apostle praised the Lord “without ceasing” for their eager reception of the Truth.
