Cinemente - Festival of Psychoanalysis and Cinema Meeting on March 22, 2013 Moderated by Fabio Castriota Bringing together cinema and psychoanalysis, Cinemente offers a unique opportunity to look at ourselves through the reflections of great directors and respected psychoanalysts, discussing themes central to the human experience—such as change, relationships, and precariousness—thanks to the collaboration of the Azienda Speciale Palaexpo with the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia - Cineteca Nazionale and the Italian Psychoanalytic Society. In many past editions, some of our most renowned national and international psychoanalysts have engaged in dialogue with contemporary masters such as Bellocchio, Avati, Garrone, Amelio, Guadagnino, Argento… and with the most accomplished young authors, such as Costanzo, Mainetti, De Paolis, and many others. Precious and completely unpublished documents, which recall experiences of crisis and which we publish now due to their extraordinary relevance, as our existence and our certainties are abruptly upended.
