Warriors of AniKituhwa War Dance

Cherokee, NC The Warriors of Anikituhwa dance the War Dance at the 2015 Cherokee Voices Festival. This performance of the War Dance revived a form of the dance that had not been done for 200 years-- this time, dancers had to make a donation on the fur pelt in order to compete. The audience pitched in too, and $511 dollars were raised by the end of the dance. All proceeds were donated to the Cherokee Children's Home.
