We’re finally starting our journey into South Park’s superhero era with The Coon from Season 13 Episode 2. This felt like the perfect introduction before jumping into the Coon and Friends trilogy, giving us a better look at Cartman as a “hero” and what actually drives him to create this whole persona. The episode mixes ridiculous comedy with the beginning of a bigger mystery, especially around Mysterion. That final reveal caught us off guard, but at the same time it didn’t really answer anything, which makes us even more curious about what’s coming next.
