Sweet Silent Night - Andy Beck | Christmas Special | Cantabile Boys Choir & Balcarras Chamber Choir

🎵 "Sweet Silent Night" 🎵, is an original choral composition written by Andy Beck, inspired by winter imagery and a peaceful, reflective mood. This performance features two of our choirs: our all-male choir Cantabile, and our all-female choir, Balcarras Chamber Choir. Both choirs are comprised of students aged 11 - 18. ➡️ Cantabile is an all-male choir led by Mr Dan Armstrong, Head of Music, and Mr Matt Howell, Teacher of Music at Balcarras School. We thoroughly enjoy our before-school rehearsals and working with our students to encourage, guide, and increase their confidence through the development of their changing voices. ➡️ Chamber choir is led by Mrs Jane Watts, Head of Extracurricular Music at Balcarras School. The choir enjoy lunchtime rehearsals where they work collaboratively through a variety of repertoire and towards extensive performance opportunities. 🎧 Please, if you can, listen through headphones to hear the separation of different voices in our ensemble. 🎧 ‼️This choir performance is amongst the selection of performances to be showcased on the Balcarras Music channel in the following weeks!
