【クラリネット六重奏】歌劇「売られた花嫁」より　道化師の踊り （Dance of the Comedians from "The Bartered Bride" for Clarinet Sextet） ※MIDI音源 作曲：B.スメタナ（Bedrich Smetana） 編曲：中村 利雅（Arr.by NAKAMURA, Toshimasa） ----- ＜曲目解説＞（Music Commentary） 　この「道化師の踊り」は、チェコの作曲家B.スメタナが作曲した歌劇「売られた花嫁」の第三幕で、街にサーカス団（旅芸人）がやってくる場面で流れる曲です。次から次と技が繰り広げられるサーカスのように、とても変化に富んでスピード感のある曲想になっています。編曲については、クラリネットで演奏しやすいように移調した以外は、原曲どおりの印象となるようにしました。 　推奨する編成は、次の六重奏です。 ・Clarinet in E♭ ・Clarinet in B♭×3 (2nd,3rd,4th) ・Alto Clarinet in E♭ ・Bass Clarinet in B♭ 　Clarinet in E♭とAlto Clarinetは、それぞれClarinet（1st,5th）に置き換えて演奏できます。ただし、全体の音域の拡がりや後半の運指を考慮すると、推奨編成の方が好ましいです。また、Alto Clarinet（5th Clarinet）のパートはカットして五重奏で演奏することもできます。その場合は、一部のパートにあるオプションの音符を演奏してください。 　16分音符の速いフレーズに気を取られがちですが、様々な異なるフレーズが代わる代わる現れて、その変化がとても面白い曲です。（急に音がなくなる場所も！）その変化を楽しむように演奏できたら素敵だと思います。 　なお、この編曲はクラリネットアンサンブルカンパニー響屋（北海道旭川市）のために作成し、第60回旭川吹奏楽祭（2024年6月）で初演したものを改訂したものです。 This piece, "Dance of the Comedians," is from the third act of the opera "The Bartered Bride," composed by the Czech composer Bedřich Smetana. The music plays during the scene where a circus troupe (traveling performers) arrives in town. Much like a circus where various acts are performed one after another, the music is highly varied and has a lively, fast-paced character. For the arrangement, aside from transposing the piece to make it easier to play on the clarinet, I aimed to preserve the original impression of the piece. The recommended ensemble for this arrangement is a sextet: ・Clarinet in E♭ ・3 Clarinets in B♭ (2nd, 3rd, 4th) ・Alto Clarinet in E♭ ・Bass Clarinet in B♭ The Clarinet in E♭ and Alto Clarinet parts can be substituted with Clarinet (1st, 5th) respectively. However, considering the overall range and the fingering in the latter half of the piece, the recommended ensemble is preferable. Additionally, the Alto Clarinet (5th Clarinet) part can be omitted to perform as a quintet. In that case, please play the optional notes provided in some parts. It's easy to get caught up in the fast sixteenth-note phrases, but this piece is fascinating because of the variety of different phrases that appear one after another. (There are even sudden pauses!)
