To make matters worse, we are mere minutes away from the entirety of Zemuria being reset to almost 1200 years in the past. All hope seems lost, so surely Van and Arkride Solutions will SOMEHOW find a way to save the day, right? Well, I hope you have your tissues ready, ladies and gentlemen, as the ending of Horizon is unbelievable! Anyway, before we can even ATTEMPT to salvage the situation, it's revealed there's a double-crosser in our midst! The one and only Rene Kincaid has, in fact, been working with the Vestiges and Professor Hamilton all along. That's not all, he's also taken all eight of the Genesis to bring them to Hamilton and Agnes! Kasim, Alexandre, and Viola quickly disarm him before he can leave. However, Rene has been harbouring a power that no one could have foreseen, the almighty Grendel Shaddai! I NEVER could have foreseen Kincaid being the final boss of Trails Beyond the Horizon, but hey, big reveals like these are a given at this point, right? It's time for Van, Kasim, Shizuna, and all of Arkride Solutions to join together and attempt to take down the Grendel Shaddai. I hope you're ready, everyone. For one of the most INSANE final bosses in gaming, that sees us fight over 3 stages, AND in space... Yes, you read correctly, you need to see it to believe it! Sadly, despite everyone's combined effort, we are unable to defeat the Grendel Shaddai, and he quickly teleports away to were Agnes is. Thus setting into motion the emotional and shocking final of Trails Beyond the Horizon, I apologise in advance for my reaction to it... I tried my best to stay calm, ok?!
