Apalachee Shooting Lead Detective Breaks Down on the Stand

During the plea and sentencing hearing for Colt Gray, the lead detective in the case took the stand to discuss the evidence he found after the Apalachee High School Shooting. He detailed the moments before the shooting took place and a notebook of Gray’s that detailed his actions. The detective also stated that this shooting was planned months before it actually occurred. He also discussed Gray’s alleged love for another school shooter, Nikolas Cruz. Gray killed four people when he opened fire at the Georgia high school in 2024.
