It is also unknown whether she was born with the virus or was infected later. Like many other residents of the region, Dimitrescu belonged to a witch cult that practiced vampirism and human sacrifice. She had already practiced vampirism in the 1950s and by 1958 had successfully converted three women, one of whom was Daniela. The Dimitrescu family maintains an alliance with the Beneviento, Moro, and Heisenberg families for control of the region. This alliance allows the Dimitrescu family to rule their castle with barbaric cruelty, regularly recruiting new servants to imprison.
