Staying at Taiwan’s most famous hotel | Grand Hotel Taipei full tour and review

A couple months ago my partner Grace and I went to Taiwan and stayed in the country’s first ever five-star hotel - the Grand Hotel. Located mid-way up a mountain in Taipei called Yuanshan, the hotel is immediately recognisable for its beautiful, traditional design in red and gold. The hotel originally opened in 1952 and has hosted a variety of distinguished guests, like Dwight Eisenhower, Nelson Mandela, and Margaret Thatcher. With such a storied history, Grace and I decided to stay there for a night to experience it for ourselves.
