El Yétzer Hará y sus 7 disfraces: así te engaña por dentro

This is the big question. The one everyone wants to understand. The Yetzer Hara: the evil inclination, the instinct for evil, the tendency toward evil. But it's nothing like what you think. Because in Judaism, evil isn't an independent being that rebelled against the Creator and goes around causing mischief in the world. There is nothing outside the Creator. We say it in the Shema: He is one and unique. What does exist within us are two forces: one that impels us toward good, and another that acts as an opponent, a sparring partner. And that force, if we learn to govern it, becomes an immense power for good. The problem is that this energy disguises itself. It enters with a small voice that sounds reasonable, and ends up being a noose from which you can no longer escape. In this video, we see the seven disguises with which the evil inclination manipulates us from within. And then, the antidotes that the Torah and the great sages give us to neutralize them. Because there are no enemies out there. The real fight is in here. In this video you will discover: How Judaism understands evil (and why it's not outside of you) · How it starts as a spider's thread and ends as a noose · The disguise of legitimate reason that justifies everything · The danger of religious zeal and false holiness · Misdirected compassion and artificial urgency · False humility: "Who am I to do good?" The Four Torah Antidotes to the Yetzer Hara This video is for you if: You truly want to understand what the evil inclination is. You feel like an inner voice is sabotaging you. You're looking for concrete tools to govern your inner self. You want to stop justifying what you know doesn't build you up. You're willing to fight the real battle, the one within. ⏱ CHAPTERS 00:00 The Big Topic: What is the Yetzer Hara? 00:56 Evil Doesn't Exist Outside the Creator 02:36 "A Spirit of Foolishness": How the Fall Begins 03:35 1.
