Audio filters explained #2 - Practical Filter Session

In this tutorial we're looking at a practical approach to filters. Filters are used to manipulate the frequency content of an audio signal and offer a commonly found set of parameters. In this episode we will look at the 'Tonic filter' which comes shipped with Cubase, and at the Universal Audio 'MOOG filter' for UAD powered processors. We take a closer look at the cutoff frequency, resonance, LFO's and the various types of filters like the Low-Pass filter, High-Pass Filter and the Band-Pass filter. Also we use Low Frequency Oscillators to manipulate the cutoff frequency and create some interesting effects. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...Presented by Wick for WickieMedia audio tutorials...
