Италия: райские Альпы и неожиданное разочарование. Мерано и Доломиты

Merano turned out to be a true fairytale. And the famous Lake Braies was not at all what I expected. After a forced stop in Vienna due to illness, I headed to the Dolomites, home to some of the best cities to live in Italy. In this episode, I stroll through fairytale Merano, which literally brought me back to life. Mountain peaks, Tyrolean streets, local produce, a perfect spring, and the atmosphere of a true Alpine resort made this city one of the most pleasant discoveries of the entire trip. Then I head to the famous Lake Braies, long considered one of Italy's greatest natural gems. But instead of a postcard-perfect landscape, I was met with unexpected disappointment. The final destination of the day is Bolzano, a city that has been named one of the best places for family life in Italy for several years now. I tried to understand why it tops such rankings and whether I could share the enthusiasm of the Italians themselves.
