In the heart of the Black Forest lies the largest lost place in the entire region, located in a tranquil spa town. The Grand Hotel "Waldlust" was built in the early 1900s and, during its heyday, hosted many aristocrats and celebrities in its luxurious ambiance. Today, the Grand Hotel is privately owned and closed as a hotel in 2005. The association "Denkmalfreunde Waldlust e.V." leases the Grand Hotel and is doing its best to preserve this impressive piece of history as best as possible within its own resources.
