Imam Fode Drame 'Justice and Harmony in the Fusus Al-Hikam of Ibn al-Arabi’

Imam Fode Drame is a linguist, Quranic exegete, teacher, father, international speaker, and humanitarian at the forefront of a number of community initiatives. In Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2005, he established Zawiyah Foundation, a non-profit charity founded on his vision for humanity. This talk will explore unity and harmony as the expression of truth (al-Haqq) in the writings of Ibn Al-Arabi. With a particular focus on the collection of wisdoms from the prophets known as the Pearls of Wisdom, Fusus Al-Hikam, we will explore the views of Ibn Al-Arabi on the words of God and the means by which they are fulfilled.
