Rory Gallagher - Live at London 1976/1977 - full album

Rory Gallagher Bootleg part one -rare Music - This album was Gallagher's attempt to bootleg the bootleggers; released in 1992 it was a no-frills exercise with little production work. The three discs were recorded throughout the '70s. The first two CDs are called "Calling Hard", featuring an entire London gig from 1976/1977, as well as about 6 tracks live in 1978. The third CD is called "Bullfrog Interlude", featuring a gig for London radio to promote the then forthcoming album, "Blueprint" from February 1973. The live recording of "The Cuckoo" from this gig was used on Blue Day for the Blues, and also this gig's version of "What in the World" was used for the BBC Sessions live CD. 2004 was a highlight for me of a Rory tribute concert, namely AUCTION !!! I was so friendly and had brought from my private archive one LP: Rory Gallagher "Live In Europe" from 1972 with the original signatures of Rory Gallagher, Gerry McAvoy, Lou Martin and Rod D'Ath. This was then auctioned off to benefit a children's hospice. The 3-CD set the Bootleg Series I got personally from Donal Gallagher, brother of Rory presented with his signature.
