At Southwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the congregational singing is a integral part of our corporate praise to our Heavenly Father! And the center piece of the music program is the grand piano. The piano offers many acoustic challenges when capturing it through microphones. Then, to reproduce that sound with very specific intent requires purposeful planning. This video shows how and why I mic the grand pianos for live and broadcast applications.
