IFRJ Based on the LDB, the Union, the states, the Federal District, and the municipalities will organize their respective education systems in a collaborative regime. It is correct to state that the Union will NOT be responsible for: a) collecting, analyzing, and disseminating information about education. b) defining, with the municipalities, forms of collaboration in the provision of elementary education. c) organizing, maintaining, and developing the official bodies and institutions of the federal education system and the territories. d) to authorize, recognize, accredit, supervise, and evaluate, respectively, the courses of higher education institutions and the establishments of their education system. e) to issue general regulations on undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Consulplan The Law of Guidelines and Bases (1996) indicates that the Union, the States, the Federal District, and the Municipalities will organize, in a collaborative regime, their respective education systems. With regard to the Municipality, it is its responsibility to: a) Offer Elementary Education and, as a priority, Secondary Education. b) Issue general regulations on Basic and Higher Education courses. c) Offer Early Childhood Education in daycare centers and preschools and, as a priority, Elementary Education. d) Ensure Elementary Education and offer, as a priority, Secondary Education to all who demand it. IBADE (adapted) Based on the LDB (Brazilian Law of Education Guidelines and Bases), the States must undertake the following responsibility: a) to organize, maintain and develop the official bodies and institutions of their education systems. b) to exercise redistributive action in relation to their schools. c) to offer early childhood education in daycare centers and preschools, and, as a priority, elementary education. d) to collect, analyze and disseminate information about education. e) to prepare the National Education Plan.
