Lathe Chip Guard - plus swarf control and material storage

I should have made a chip guard many years ago but I've only just got around to it. Prior to this I just balanced a piece of flat wood on the cross slide to protect myself and control the spray of hot chips. A poor substitute lol! Hot chips will damage the surface of perspex which doesn't really affect its usefulness (other than the fact it becomes increasingly difficult to see through..) The toughened glass screen protector will prevent that. I've also added a bit of info on how I store my day-to-day materials, and how I control chips/swarf aroubnd the lathe bench.
