Bravismorda: The Valkyrie of Death Digital version 1 - PYSRION PROJECT

This project showcases the full production process for Queen Bravismorda, the Valkyrie of Death, a major character from my dark fantasy/sci-fi world, The Pysrion Story. To bring her to life, I utilised a six-step hybrid process, from the pencil line art, ink and shadow and then pencil colours on A3 paper to then scanning those images and moving her into the digital domain. The Step-by-Step Breakdown: Step 1: Pencil Line Art – The foundational layout, using pencils on physical A3 paper. Step 2: Ink & Shadow on Paper – Refining the lines adding contrast and shadows traditionally using ink and pencil. Step 3: Full Colour on Paper – Laying down the initial pencil colours Step 4: Digital Line Art – Scanning the A3 artwork into the computer and translating it into clean, sharp digital line art. Step 5: Base/Flat Colours in Digital – Blocking out the clean base digital colours. Step 6: Full Colour & FX in Digital – The finished version, adding extra colour and shadows, lighting, and glowing energy special effects. About Bravismorda: Queen Bravismorda, also known as the Valkyrie of death is the ruler of the Buribux kingdom to the north of Cresnia. She rules with an iron fist, as a heartless figure that rules an empire. Her claws stretch across all of Mithyandrul casting a shadow of death that other nations dare not cross. Neighbouring realms like NESDRA, NOCTURN and CRESNIA keep to themselves, these kingdoms try desperately to stay away from political and geopolitical world affairs but none can escape her reputation. Everyone from the highest noble, to the most remote hermit knows of the name Bravismorda. She is the embodiment of forgetting tragedy, she forgets tragedy to move on. Born from the ashes of the Buribux kingdom that was destroyed by Valxeen. As an innocent girl named Bravistasia, she traded her memories of love, empathy and compassion to a cosmic god called The Judge in exchange for god-like powers. Today she rules Buribux with absolute authority, enforcing ruthless crystal tariffs that control the influx of mined energy crystals between all kingdoms. With her forces, and her left and right hands, manufactured silence and fake silence. She is feared Those who disobey her laws are deemed criminals and sentenced to a brutal prison island. There, their DNA structure is forcibly rewritten using ancient technology left behind by her ancestors who once lived in the Jewel of the Sky (the fallen floating city). She is deeply feared, yet completely hollow. She has long forgotten why she wanted revenge in the first place, and she is utterly unable to remember the faces or names of the parents she is avenging.
