Based on viewer survey results, the 15th camera featured is the Canon EF. The name is somewhat confusing because Canon's AF lenses use the EF mount. It's a hybrid of mechanical and electronic shutters. In that sense, it's a pioneer compared to the Nikon FM3A. It features shutter-priority AE. Its appearance, a spitting image of the top-of-the-line F-1, is impressive and high-quality. Its release in 1973 coincided with the oil crisis, and sales struggled due to the recession. Furthermore, the introduction of the Canon AE-1 made it a less prominent camera. Thanks to its mechanical design, many film cameras can still take pictures even after 50 years. 1973 was the year the Doraemon TV series began, and the year Chiaki Naomi's song "Kassai" was born, and many things that continue to this day were created. We'll discuss the Canon EF within this historical context. The song "Kassai" (Applause) was used in a BOSS canned coffee commercial, so I chose Suntory coffee to enjoy with it.
