Regular curves, simple curves and their parametrization. Concepts preparatory to line integrals. With this lesson, the mathematical concept of curve in space and in the plane is inaugurated, introducing the concept of regular curve and simple curve. The concepts of curvilinear abscissa, support of a curve, length of a regular curve and line integral will be presented. These concepts will be disclosed in the following lessons, however this lesson is the basis for all subsequent ones. In this lesson, after having explained the concept of curve through parametric equations, three different exercises will be presented in which it will be shown how to verify whether a curve is regular or simple.
