The Grey Room by Stefan Grabiński
A classic ghost story read by H. Washington Sawyer. Sometimes called the Poe of Poland, Grabiński was an early 20th Century dabbler in the occult and writer of dark surrealist fiction. His life was characterized by illness, solitude and poverty and he died unrecognized and alone in his apartment. The Grey Room was published in 1915; it is translated from Polish.
