ENGLISH SYNOPSIS Tango...can also be Finnish. In Argentina we know little about this country and their culture, we usually think of them as completely different society, and yet we don’t even know they have their own Tango. In my journeys through that beautiful land I found that link we share, and decided to explore it, to go and unravel the mistery behind the Finnish Tango not only as a musical or dance expression but also to find meaning of this music for this particular country in which I found myself interviewing musicians such as M.A. Numminen to tango lovers like Pertti Mustonen, who has the music in his blood, and after all this I found that despite of distance between our two countries we are more than kindred spirits. Solemos pensar que podría ser una sociedad completamente diferente a la nuestra, y no sabíamos que podrían tener su propio Tango. Sin embargo, a través de esta investigación durante mis viajes a Finlandia, que luego se convertiría en un Documental pequeño y personal, pude encontrar más conexiones que diferencias; no sólo desde la forma musical o el baile, sino en la forma que se vive el Tango. Para los finlandeses, el Tango es su música nacional, y lo pudieron demostrar las entrevistas de: Pertti Mustonen, M.A. Numminen, y también algunos músicos o sencillos amantes del Tango. Aquello que parecía tan distante y lejano, empezó a acercarse..." ---- FINNISH SYNOPSIS Tango... voi olla myös suomalaista. Argentiinassa tiedetään hyvin vähän tästä maasta ja sen kulttuurista. Yleensä ajatellaan, että Suomi on hyvin erilainen yhteiskunta, eikä tiedetä, että siellä on oma tangokulttuurinsa. Matkoillani tämän kauniin maan halki löysin kuitenkin enemmän yhteistä kuin erottavaa: ei ainoastaan musiikissa ja tanssissa, vaan myös tavassa elää Tangoa. Tango on suomalaisille heidän kansallismusiikkiaan, sen huomasin haastatellessani muusikoita kuten M.A. Numminen ja tangon ystäviä kuten Pertti Mustonen.
