When your heart is exhausted from facing life's various challenges, sometimes you feel like taking a break from all the burdens. Work pressure, family problems, financial hardship, disappointment, and the constant trials can leave you feeling exhausted and demoralized. In situations like this, don't let your heart wallow in sadness for too long. Draw closer to Allah by increasing your prayers and dhikr, which can calm your heart and strengthen your spirit. Reciting Subhanallah (the remembrance of Allah) is a simple practice with extraordinary virtue. The phrase "Subhanallah" means "Glory be to Allah." When recited with conviction, this dhikr helps the heart remember that Allah is Almighty over all problems we face. No difficulty is too great for Allah. No burden is too great for Him. And no sadness is too great for Him to replace with peace. Many people feel tired not only from physical activity, but also from the burden of constantly mounting thoughts. Allah always hears every prayer, sees every struggle, and knows every tear that falls. Even when no one understands your situation, Allah still knows the deepest contents of your heart. The best times to practice this dhikr are after the Fajr prayer, after the Maghrib prayer, and before bed. During these times, the heart finds it easier to focus and reverence in remembering Allah. Make dhikr a daily routine so that your soul always finds peace and renewed strength each day. In addition to increasing dhikr, don't forget to cultivate gratitude. Being grateful for even the smallest blessings will help your heart feel more peaceful. When one focuses on the blessings one still has, the burden of life feels lighter and hope renews. Subhanallah also teaches that every test holds a lesson we may not yet understand. What feels difficult today can be a source of greater goodness in the future.
