Landschaftsgärtner-Abschlussprüfungen Teil 2: Schriftliche Prüfung | GaLaBau Bayern
This video depicts a fictional exam situation involving two landscape gardening apprentices, Julia and Juan-Pierre, who are in their third year of training and about to take their final exams, with a vocational school teacher. The regular written exam, however, lasts three and a half hours. The exam covers plant knowledge, including practical plant identification (60 minutes), business-related topics (90 minutes), and subjects from economics and social studies (60 minutes). Please note: Regional differences in exam content and duration are possible, depending on the exam location. Therefore, be sure to find out the current regulations well in advance! Exam preparation: The best way to prepare is to keep all your course materials organized and complete in your school binder. Obtain any missing materials. This will ensure you have all the exam topics covered. Start studying on the very first day of your apprenticeship – don't wait until the last minute! In addition to course materials, use textbooks and digital learning tools (e.g., the Plant Book App, azubi.help). If you have any further questions, consult your teacher or instructor. And, keep filling out your report book regularly; this will also help with exam preparation. For a good start to the exam: Stay calm and read the cover sheet! When tackling the tasks: Read the texts carefully and start with the easier questions, answering the more difficult ones later. Write legibly. For open-ended and multiple-choice questions, don't provide more answers than are requested. For calculation problems, clearly write out your work, not just the result! Check your answers for plausibility. Finally, check that you have answered all the questions. Don't leave anything unanswered. Materials for the written exam: ballpoint pen, colored pencils, highlighters, ruler, set square, compass, non-programmable calculator (smartphones are not permitted). Good luck!
