Turning Stainless Steel Hex Nuts and Bolt into 5 Carat Emerald Ring - By AMbros custom

Hello Guys, This video is a journey of making a ring out of stainless steel nuts and Allen bolt. So this idea is definitely not new and the famous jewellery maker Pablo Cimadevila and this video completely inspired by that legend. He made a video in which he TURN 2 HEX NUTS into a 1 Ct DIAMOND RING. In this video instead of having brass nuts I decided to go with stainless steel and from the starting of this build, the journey is going to be tougher because of choice of material. So if you consider my experience in jewellery making, so that is going to be nill but I definitely have an experience in the making, so that thing definitely helps me during this build. There are so many things which I didn't follow as a jeweller perspective so definitely avoid those mistakes before making any critics. The stone I used for the top is an emerald stone and it's not that costly. Stones available in various grades and the one I have used in this build is a low-grade stone and it costs around 100$ but even though that cost is way too much for me. But I want to say one thing that you can easily make rings out of regular workshop tools as I did. So in the video, I use angle grinder to taper the sides of the rings and during the use of grinder I am bare hands, that might seems extremely dangerous to you but if you watch the video then you can see that I use a speed regulator to decrease the speed of my angle grinder and with that regulator, the grinder spins at extremely low speed that you can stop it with bare hand( but don't try to do that because regulator came in various speed-reducing capabilities) and I advise you to use hand gloves for the protection. If you are using these kinds of glued on diamond plates then never ever use them on high speed because they never meant to be used at that much speed because high-speed increase the temperature and those diamond abrasives come off easily. At low speed, they work absolutely fine and giver much better result and always make sure to use some kind of coolant like water or WD-40 for the blade life. The blades I am using are the diamond blade to grind the extra material from the ring. I also use a different colour of buffing compound and they basically refer to different frit sizes. The brown is coarse and the pink is the fine one.
