http://www.pedestrians.org Demolition of the old Kann's Department Store in the Virginia Square section of Arlington, Virginia. Kann's was located there from 1951 to 1975. In recent years the building has been used by George Mason University. Demolition was delayed when a major hydraulic hose ruptured. The hose was replaced, absorbent was spread, and demolition resumed. Produced by John Z Wetmore, producer of "Perils For Pedestrians".
