Gnarstow is Oregon's Gnarliest Sanctioned Trail
Gnarstow, the big brother to the now-famous Fear and Loaming Downhill trail, is a steeper, gnarlier, and overall more demanding option for those exploring the Drift Creek trail system in the Tillamook State Forest outside of Portland, OR. The trail is steep and technical, and features a number of optional expert lines including rock chutes and gap-jumps. While it's rideable on virtually any full-suspension mountain bike, you'll have the most fun on a 160mm+ travel rig, and DH bikes are absolutely appropriate. Don't forget to support the volunteer trailbuilding organization who are working to bring more gnar like this to Oregon! Follow @westsidetrailfederation and come out to a build day!
