Deriving insights from timely and accurate geospatial data could enable mission-critical use cases in the organizations and fuel a vibrant marketplace across industry. In this talk, we introduce the geospatial support added in Pinot 0.6 release, including the geospatial data model, functions, as well as the indexing for better query performance. We will also demonstrate the power geospatial support by walking through a UberEats use case “orders-near-you”.
