Beyond the Edge | Story of My Faith | Bro. Raphael Puzon | MCGI

When you cannot find comfort at home, where else will you turn? As a child, Brother Raphael Puzon often got into trouble, involved in fights and bullying at school. At the time, his father was already a member of the Members Church of God International (MCGI), so Raphael would join him in attending gatherings. However, his mother strongly disapproved, which eventually led to his parents' separation because his father chose to remain in the Church. The separation weighed heavily on Brother Raphael. He became deeply depressed, and his teachers encouraged him to attend counseling sessions at school. In one vulnerable moment, he confided in his father, saying, “I don’t wanna live anymore.” Still, his father kept bringing him to Church gatherings. Slowly, Brother Raphael grew more active in the Kawan ng Cordero (KNC) and found comfort among the brethren and his fellow young members. Yet, the pain from his parents’ separation left him estranged from his mother. The question remains: how will he find a way to reconcile with her?
