AKAI 4000DS mk II opname test met muziek van "Billy Idol - White Wedding" Dit deck is door een handige knutselaar voorzien van een stevig handvat en een extra capstan-adapter voor 38 cm / sec. bandsnelheid. De pauseknop is in deze stand onbruikbaar omdat de aandrukrol niet loskomt van de capstan. Ook geen tooncorrectie waardoor de opname wat hoger klinkt dan de bron. Ook op 9,5 cm / sec. klinkt dit deck opvallend goed!
