Protein Electrophoresis Tutorial: Science Outreach Video (IQOG-CSIC) A technique for separating proteins based on their size and electrical charge by applying an electric field to an acrylamide gel. The proteins are then visualized in the gel by staining or developing them. This tutorial demonstrates the process of preparing a discontinuous electrophoresis sample in polyacrylamide/bisacrylamide gels in the presence of SDS.
