On the night of February 14th-15th, LM returned to the former marital home, now his ex-wife's residence (the separation having occurred in October), in a state of advanced intoxication. Finding the door locked, he forced entry, accused LP of having a relationship with another man, and threatened to cut off her head and bend it. Terrified, she sought refuge with her mother, who lived in the neighboring house. Her mother was also targeted and threatened.
