I used 2 gallons of water to cook these 3 pounds of peanuts, so just double the spices for every gallon of water you use to cover peanuts plus two inches. 1 Tablespoon of powdered cayenne pepper 1 Teaspoon of white or black pepper 1 Teaspoon of garlic powder 1 Bay leaf 1 Teaspoon of sweet basil ½ cup of salt ½ cup of powdered crab boil (Zatarains, Slap Ya Momma, Swamp Fire, etc.) 4 oz's of diced jalapeño peppers #smokyribsbbq
