Single Player Let's Play Episode 123 Hoops (1989) Full Single Player Playthrough Playthrough in Various Modes NES - Nintendo Entertainment System TheVespor Solo Let's Play Episode 4 of our Basketball Based Video Game Retrospective Series Solo Console Let's Play Full Playthrough in Singe Player Modes | 1 on 1 and 2 on 2. A solo Let's Play done by TheVespor (along with Ramsis doing commentary during the playthrough) as we showcase the fourth game in our Basketball Video Game Retrospective. Game number 4 is Hoops made by Jaleco for the NES in 1988 and released in the Noth American market in 1989. More half court action with 8 selectable young basketball players, each with their own pros and cons. Some are tall, some are fast some are good at defense and some at range. It's a mish mash of great options in this interesting basketball game on the NES. This is a game TheVespor grew up with and that is why he is going to play it and show it's highlights (and lowlights) as we do two game plays in the various modes available. The game has a basic premise, repetitive music and cheap AI but it's still fun for what it is. Not a bad attempt at getting a half court game onto the good ol NES. This is where it all starts for our 6th Retrospective Series here on Vespors Retro Reviews. We're talkin' basketball! Lots of games. 12 in total to look b ack at. Once a month. So sit back, relax, lace your shoes, put air in the basketball and lets get ready to play some hoops here with the Vespor and Ramsis. We found 12, yes 12, Basketball based Video Games to showcase during our Season 6 retrospective and this is going to a trip up and down the court you definitely don't want to miss and won't forget. For both good and bad reasons. But that's how it usually is in these looking back on games from the present. The plan is for 12 (one a month for the season) so this being the first, you can see where we are going with all of this. Be sure to check out the Playlist to see them all in order and to check any you missed. You know the game, now watch Ramsis have fun explaining it all to you and with TheVespor of course along for the ride, it should be a blast from the past for us to enjoy once more. Here on Vespor's Retro Reviews. With that all out the way let's once again.. Time to RING THAT BELL as the match is about to get underway! ***** #RetroGaming #nes #basketball #jaleco #sportsgame #sportsgames #hoops *****
