UKPNP Historic Intra Jammu Kashmir Conference | Strongly Condemns Siege & Blockade in Azad Kashmir | 12 July 2026 The United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) held a historic conference uniting leaders, journalists, and civil society from across the divided State of Jammu & Kashmir and the global diaspora to address the humanitarian crisis, siege, and brutal crackdown on the peaceful People's Rights Movement in Azad Kashmir. Key Demands: • Immediate end to brutal force, arbitrary arrests, and enforced disappearances. • Release all detained individuals and produce them before courts. • Unconditional return of bodies of those martyred since 5 June 2026. • Lift the siege, blockade, and ban on the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC). • Restore internet, mobile services, and essential supplies (food/medicine). • Withdraw security forces from hospitals; ensure safe medical access. • Resume meaningful dialogue and respect fundamental democratic rights. • Panelists • Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri, Chairman, United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) Special Message • Dr. Farooq Abdullah, President of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference and former Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, conveyed his best wishes for the success of the conference.
