"Peis Dinogat" - Old Welsh Lullaby
"Peis Dinogat" (Pais Dinogad in modern Welsh) is an Old Welsh Lullaby, it recounts the hunting prowess of the dead father of an infant named Dinogad, who is wrapped in a smock made of marten skins. The poem is known from the Book of Aneirin, a 13th century Welsh manuscript, it survived as an interpolation in the manuscript of Y Gododdin, an early medieval epic.
