96|New product/technique for Magic Pour. Stunning results!! #resinart

In this tutorial I am trying a new product and technique with the Lets Resin Magic Pour casting powder. The product is by ‪@DecoArtPaint‬‪@DecoArtPaint‬ and it's called Water marbling/hydro dipping, made with acrylic paint. I am using a bowel mold that is 7"x7" round by 2.5" deep and holds 16oz. Step 1: I mix up my casting powder, starting with 455g (should have went with 500g) powder. mixed in my water and poured into the mold and then had to mix a bit more to get it filled. tapped and jiggled the mold to help release air bubbles, then left to cure for an hour. Once cure, removed from the mold and let dry over night. Step 2: I prepare the water, (it needs to be really hot water) for the hydro dip based on instructions. but....I should have mixed a little at a time versus mixing all at once of the thickening powder, but once I got in dissolved, left the water to cool to room temp. Step 3: It was time to add the colorant to the water, so I chose black, teal and blue and dripped the colors in the water until I thought it was a good pattern, I decided last minute to add the light green. I then dipped the bowel in, under then out.
